About us

The firm has its origins as an association of like-minded independent black-owned audit practices formed in 2000. The individual firms in the association were well established and generally in practice for more than 10 years, and in one instance 60 years.  The purpose of the association was to enable the individual firms to access the benefits of a national network and compete with the large national firms.

By 2003 the association had co-developed equivalent and single standards and a single brand name through which they operated. This naturally evolved into a national firm, practicing as Ramathe with offices in all major business centres in the country. The firm’s consistent expansion has resulted in the establishing of specialized divisions  in Risk Management and Forensic Accounting.
